COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is a beginner-intermediate course introducing the fiqh of the Shafi’i madhhab. Four main topics will be covered: the history of the madhhab, the fiqh itself, the qawa’id (principles of the madhhab) and usul-ul-fiqh.

This course will be the first in a multi-level series of programs in Shafi’i fiqh study.
